Anna Taylor Music – Heart & Soul launches debut album from gifted singer song writer Anna Taylor

On Sunday 14th February 2010, gifted singer songwriter Anna Taylor launches her inspiring debut album “Already Here” which is available to buy at the Heart & Soul store in Lindfield and through a link from the website www.heartandsoulgifts.co.uk.
Described by BBC Sussex DJ Neil Pringle as having ‘an amazing voice’, Anna uses the universal language of music to lift us to a space outside of ourselves, beyond the pressures of everyday life.
Born with Cerebral Palsy, Anna knows first hand the incredible healing and transformational effect music can have on the mind, body and spirit. Her gifts of passion, hope and the knowledge that anything is possible shine through her lyrics and the story behind her album proves that dreams really do come true.
During years of writing and singing her own songs Anna always held a dream that one day she would record her own album. Having created a ‘Wall of Love’ on her website and invited people to sponsor her songs, Anna was given a wonderful opportunity to travel to America in August 2009 and meet with record producer Robert Berry who co-wrote the songs with her before they even met and then helped her to record these 10 very special love songs for her first album.
“Many people told me I should go and record the songs with someone else in England but I could not imagine completing the album without Robert because, as an amazing, experienced musician and producer, I trusted him to help me create them in a way that matched my own vision” says Anna. “So though I had no idea how I would receive such a huge sum of money to pay for the project, I kept believing that it could and would happen somehow” she continues.
“In June 2009, I was featured in my local paper and my dream to record before my birthday (in September) became stronger and stronger. After I shared this dream with my friends, one sweetly decided to make an announcement about my ‘Wall of Love’ and suddenly the money began to pour in!” she says.
The title song ‘Already Here’ very much reflects a wish that people have; to love and be loved unconditionally. “Ever since I was alittle girl, I’ve always wanted the ‘fairytale’ – true, deep, unconditional love. Someone who I can be totally myself with and who loves me just as I am” says Anna.
Another song, entitled ‘The Mystery’, is about the times we feel its best to go our separate ways. “I realise that sometimes in relationships no matter how people care for one another, they know deep down that the only way to move forward is to go their separate ways. It may be possible to return together again but there comes a point when they have to let go, even if they have no idea what will happen next.”
Anna hopes that her story and her vision will inspire others to follow their dreams and it is her intention to make a career as a singer. “I want to be able to travel and tell people that if you have a dream or you really want to do something enough then you can and your dream can come true” she says.

Ethical Clothes & Gifts – Heart & Soul Opens Brand New Ethical Children’s Store in Lindfield, West Sussex

Heart & Soul, the popular gift shop in Lindfield, West Sussex is delighted to announce that its children’s gift and clothing store has relocated to new premises at 68 High Street, Lindfield.
To celebrate this move Heart & Soul will launch brand new clothing collections from well known brands Petit Bateau, Kissy Kissy and Darcy Brown, and a debut collection from leading eco-friendly company, Kite Kids at the end of February.
Kite makes a cool and contemporary range of clothing for girls and boys using certified organic cotton, bamboo and recycled polyester. The clothes are not only super-comfy, they are produced without using any harmful chemicals – a big plus for the planet and the people involved in their production.
Heart & Soul is owned and run by Gabrielle Hall, who has traded in Lindfield for eight years. She says: “I am very excited about the launch of my new children’s store and have some wonderful products to offer.
